Is this Schott Cafe Racer too big?

as stated, this jacket fits you very well, no issues, sleeves are a perfect length - enjoy it!

Because I am OCD, I ended up getting the Medium to compare again. The last time I tried the Medium, I was 20lbs heavier and had a hard time zipping up. No so this time:

The body fits perfect. No extra room. Shoulders are snug. Sleeves are shorter than the Large.



For reference here is the Large again:

Little bat-wing effect right? Should I keep the Medium and sell the Large? Stay with the Large? Medium feels like second skin...snug second skin. Large feels a bit loose. Thoughts? Thanks!

I don't like the sleeve length at all on the Medium, even though it does seem to fit a bit better. But yeah, the sleeves are too short. It's unacceptable, trust me on this. If it's too snug, that's no good either. Maybe you really should look into another jacket altogether. I've had the same problem with Schott, either too large, or sleeves too short. Some of their jackets are just weird. Some are downright bad. I have one now that's perfect but I lucked out.

The medium is a better fit through the body, but I couldn't live with those short sleeves.

Sleeves are too short for me but, people that don't ride sometimes wear there sleeves that short. I've seen even shorter on models advertising leather jackets. Definitely way too short if your on two wheels...........

The large looks better but to me this is one of Scott's less convincing patterns.

Go for it.... 641HH is a better choice!!

For me, CAF1 or 641 steerhide/HH, all the way! Then again, I wear Vanson comp weight and Lost Worlds, so my viewpoint is skewed.

Here is the 641HH in a 42. The store suggested the 40, but the sleeves were way short. Even these sleeves are short.

Looks like it wasn't meant to be with the 641HH. But through this journey I have come to appreciate the P5525. While more of a fashion jacket than, the matte black zips and light weight allow me to wear it a little more than casual and indoors:

I think it depends what you are going for. The one you have kind of suggests ( to me that is) more of a "hipster" look. I see that look a lot. But it's getting to be "the in thing" with young guys.
The 641 would be more of the " rugged, rough cut" look. Don't see much of it but notice it when you do ( in a good way)

Hello,

I purchased this Schott P5525 cafe racer in the spring as a reward to myself for losing weight. Since then, I've gone on to lose more. Does the jacket look too large?

It's a size L and the shoulders feel good. I opted out of the M because it was hard to zipper in the spring, but i think I would have no problem now. Also the sleeves were a tad short.

My biggest issue is that it seems baggy on the body. What do you all think? Keep or sell?

I'm about to return it. Sleeves too short? I think the 40 fit better in the chest, but sleeves were closer to my elbows. I've been wearing the P5525 a lot, but now that it's getting cooler, would have loved for the 641HH to have work out. Definitely like the ruggedness, just wish it fit better.
