Is This Jacket an Ike Jacket, or a Ricky Jacket?

I bought this Dickies jacket yesterday, as I needed a light-mid weight jacket. Besides, I thought it looked nice. I got it in Lincoln Green. It did not come yet, however.

I was wondering, is this jacket a Ricky Jacket, or an Ike Jacket, or neither? As it isn't vintage, I don't know if these terms apply. The jacket's name is "Eisenhower".

It's neither. The jacket Emigran posted is a proper 'Ike' jacket, a 'Ricky' jacket might be of similar construction, but would be of a much finer material, usually rayon or wool gabardine, and probably cut a little shorter in the body. What you've got is a good old service jacket. A staple of any workingman's wardrobe (own a couple myself), and a perfect accompaniment to jeans or chinos. Absolutely nothing wrong with them, and Lincoln green is a choice color, but just recognize it for what it is.

I'd call it a work jacket or utility jacket. I had a couple unlined for summer.
