Is there a way to search for phrases?

I've tried everything I know and nothing works! Is there a way to search the forum for phrases, or multiple words?

Searching for phrases

Start up Google, type in your phrases and add: site:www.thefedoralounge.com . Google has this possibilty to limit your search to a chosen domain.

I don't know why but the boolean search operators never seemed to work here so Google is the way to go:

http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q=site:thefedoralounge.com&hl=com&lr=&as_qdr=all

If you happen to get a link to the old forum you probably won't get where you wanted to go. The thread numbers seem to have changed.

No longer. Google has re-indexed the site, at least most of it. The returned search results should now work again. Give it a try!

Using the forum search, just throw some "quotations" around a phrase, and it should work. Google works as well.

I'm still getting mixed results. Google can take for-freaking-ever to get rid of old links, even after a site is re-indexed.

True. That's why I said that most of the site has been re-indexed. It will still take some more time before everything is back to normal.

I just used the internal search function like so:

Search term - "A1 Jacket" (in quotes)

I got several, including this:

http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?247-Only-Angels-Have-Wings&highlight=A1+Jacket

But it didn't seem to give me results in which the two words were necessarily found side by side. It did, however give me side-by-side and also scattered instances of the two words. But the list of search was results was more manageable. About ten.
