I am interested in a silver small bell which can be tied on the fob drop, but my watch chain is gold.So I am not sure if it is OK.

My chain is Gold also, I found a neat Silver fob for it I thought looked great, but my wife said "NO" and now I have a OK looking gold fob. My point is if you like it, fine, I say go for it, but if you have a higher authority like me, check with them first as they look at it more then you. Good Luck!

My watch is nickel and have an old gold chain on it for everyday use. When I dress to go out, I use one of my silver chains which are more delicate. At first the different colors bothered me but then I realized I usually have more important things to think about.

I might as well throw my fob in this circle. Silver - silver, Gold - gold. I also match the metals on the rest of my outfit, e.g. gold belt buckle and cufflinks call for gold watch, etc.

(I'm not a huge fan of two-tone wristwatches, although I'm guilty of wearing one from time to time)
