Once in a while I see outerwear related info off TFL worth sharing and can’t find a good place for it so I thought I’d start a thread. I don’t know enough about cyber security to know if this is a bad idea. If it is, I apologize.

Kicking it off with this thread from VLJ. The opening post is very good. The OP is mostly commenting on WWII production jackets but it certainly applies to all of the 1920s-1950s patterns we enjoy here.

I was distracted by the leather grains and patina. Which also meant the owner just wore the damn jacket back then, wonky stitch or not.
