This isn't really the site for factory produced jackets like those made by Schott and this is also a site that celebrates very thick leather, either steer or horse and generally Horween produced so you probably won't find too many fans for this jacket here.
I do like some Schott jackets (my favorite jacket is a Schott cafe racer) and I don't appreciate thick leather, so from my perspective this is a solid if unexciting jacket. The cherry isn't to my taste but that's a personal matter. The leather is about 2.5oz which is plenty thick enough for my tastes and similar to the thickness of vintage jackets which were not as solid as today's artisan versions. Check the sizing with Schott.
I personally went with a M-8002 Johnson leathers version of this style which I had made in 2.5oz naked cowhide in black. Cost about the same. If you found this Schott for a good price, great, but there are many old car coats on line for around $100 that would look and perform about the same. A good one was made by Cooper.
Yep, I bought it a few years ago, the first of 3 Johnson Leathers jackets. What can I say? It's a vintage style blazer but well made. I wanted leather I would enjoy wearing so I went with thinner hide than the 3oz the jacket ususally comes in. I also asked for breathable nylon twill lining. This stuff lasts forever. I am 6ft 2 and 185 pounds, the size medium fits well. I chose 26 inch sleeves.

The Schott jackets I own fit trim (I'm trim) and are superbly well made with 26 inch sleeves. But Schott should look into making more tall fitting jackets. I would buy more of them if they came in longer sizes.
Schott jackets are well made if you dont mind things being a little rough if you go looking for details. The stitchig is very nice, but mine has a few edges that are trimmed badly. The leather is nice, not FQHH or Shinki nice, but very adequat.
One thing to think about is the fit. Schott has a "beer belly" fit. They literally taper outwards from the shoulders down, and tend to have a huge stomach area. Short sleeves to.
I had to have mine tailored, we tapered in the bottom quite a bit. I have to say i don't think they are worth it anymore. Last year they increased their prices a lot, and i think that you can find better value for money considering the current prices.
