In the closet

After six previous homes, I am now living in a "vintage" home - built about 1920. I decided to utilize one of the smaller bedrooms as my "closet," or perhaps more accurately, as my dressing room.

This box was a sample box for woolen swatches. I use it to keep my spats, white gloves, handkerchiefs, and pocket squares

What a wonderful collection and what a great idea. My missus and I rattle around in a five-bedroomed-house, I have often said that I need a walk-in wardrobe. Her Ladyship has commandeered one of the bedrooms for such purposes, she has a shoe rack that covers an entire wall. Imelda Marcos, eat your heart out.

Wow, everything is beautiful and stylish in retro style. I think now such retro things cost a lot of money. I saw auctions and coupons for retro clothes on the website https://seven.deals/ even at a discount, the jacket I liked was worth about $ 500. I think you are very lucky with such a collection. Especially cool hat collection. It attracts me very much. I would be very happy to have such a wardrobe. A very interesting post about the fashion of the time. Fashion of 1939, it seems to me much more attractive than current trends. Thanks for such a wonderful post.
