In search of smaller brimmed silverbelly fedora/trilby

Hello fellas,

I am searching for a trilby/fedora in a silverbelly color. The only ones I ever see are hats with fairly large brims, such as the Akubra Campdraft, and the Stetson Stratloliner. Any help would be appreciated!

If you have an extra 1k laying around, Optimo will make you the nicest silverbelly stingy you'll ever find.

I think it's a fairly uncommon color for shorter brimmed hats. In all my hours of ebaying, I don't know that I've seen one.

I purchased a vintage Champ stingy off eBay a couple of years ago. The hat is nice, maybe a little stiff, but I reshaped it from a cattleman's crease to a wide front pinch without trouble. Brim is 2". Here's a couple of pics:

Akubra "leisure time" comes in a light sand.
Another option is getting a hat altered. If I was looking for a hat like that, I would keep my eye on Kijiji or buy and sell groups, possibly eBay for a silverbelly cowboy hat for cheap. Then send it off to be altered by someone like Art fawcett, Northwest hats, Penman hats. Heck Mike Moore.
I have a old beige Stetson XXXXX quality with a three inch brim that would be perfect for such a conversion.
Just a thought.
