In praise of Art Fawcett and customer service

A little over a week ago I asked how I could "cup" the brim of my VS "Last Man" hat. I thought I could possibly do it myself. Some of you suggested it would better to contact Art, well I did. He said send the hat back he would do the brim, no charge. So I sent if off on the 21st . I received an email from him Saturday saying the hat was shipping AND he also addressed the "snugness" I mentioned to him. The hat just came through the door at my office!! Oregon to Pennsylvania since Saturday, NOW that is SUPERIOR customer service, hat looks fantastic and fits perfectly! I can see why Art has the reputation he does and rightfully so, Thanks again Art!!! :eusa_clap:eusa_clap

Just had a first time conversation with the Man on Fri. I called the shop to see if a "whipstitch" could b added to the raw brim of another hat I own. Art got on the phone personally to discuss the work etc. A very informative and worthwhile conversation. I can see the reason for all the accolades right there, not to mention the gorgeous hats coming out of his shop that he crafts.

Things have been crazy here since I opened the retail side and have accepted more repair work but I hope to continue quick service in the future without compromising the quality. My apprentice is making great strides on the repairs and is growing more confident by the day. I hope create another hat brand as an outlet for his work to show you how good he is getting.
