While I'm glad to see a professional of any kind advocate wearing hats (and I'll note one eccentric young physician in this town wears a Fedora every day), it's weird to think that we've reached the state that somebody has to defend wearing hats.

Of course, next summer we'll hear the full range of UV sunlight warnings.

Seems somebody could put the two together.
