I recieved this from Mr. Rover today. It is straight out of the roaring 20's!

That suit looks so much better on you than it did on me- chiefly the shoulders and chest. You were right about the slim-fit pants...very nice! I'm warming up to narrower leg trousers myself, but for a suit, I really like the full leg with a sharp crease.
On another note, I went to Thom Browne yesterday to actually try on one of their suits...surprisingly comfortable. Nice armhole for a sample- a MTM would be even better I imagine, well-made shoulder, and as a slim guy, the fit of the jacket was spot on. The jacket, however, was really short. Anyway, back to pants, his trousers literally fit like this:

I was afraid that they would burst when I sat down. The 20s/50s cuts seem very, very generous in cut now, even though they are slim compared to the 30s.

The weather here is really bad, so I'm hoping your 30s suit arrives tomorrow!

That is one sharp looking suit. Or is it the man that makes the suit?

I think that style looks really good on the slimmer types. When they start getting 'thicker' like me lol it doesn't work as well. [huh]

Now you need a tunic shirt and a nice, high, stiff collar.

Yes, that would be nice.

It seems though that the picture depicts suits from the early 20's not 1926, then again I could be wrong.....
