Does anybody here own or have experience with this jacket? Came across it the other day and I love the look of it. I own a couple pair of IH jeans and love them to death.....

Be curious to see if any members have one and can speak to the hide, fit etc...

Can't speak from experience, but the numbers look weird to me...
If i look at my size (42) and compare the numbers to average numbers i have seen for a size 42, it has wider shoulders, narrower chest, and wider bottom hem...

There are many fit pics on the IH forum and i cannot say that any of them are that good a fit IMO.

Also, it looks like on every picture with the jacket open it flares out like a tent opening rather than have both sides of the zipper stay parallel to each other.
Not sure what the deal is with the pattern, but it is strange.

I really love it! Looks a lot like Vanson Mod. B, just with two chest pockets, but I dig the waist zips.

It does seem to fit a bit odd...

Interesting that this jacket was made for IH by a Japanese company (http://www.4speed.co.jp/), rather than SB. Has IH severed its long standing relationship with SB?
No, the rest of their stuff is still AL/SB. This was organised while the WL thing was going on, and I think it was to do with the type of leather offered by 4Speed? I don't think the trial had anything to do with it, just a different leather/maker and something Japanese for the guys.I'm not sure I've got the details correct, but I had asked about the SB thing at the time. I'm pretty sure they are still doing IH jackets for custom order through SB.

chest pockets in my own opinion need to be lower, the proportion is off otherwise
buat dual zip, and waist zips are great.

As I own the HironHeart x selfedge version which I'm selling right now (can be seen in the classifieds) I can tell It is a very nice jacket if you want that syle. I prefer the collab version since I see it as an upgrade tho.

The leather is Shinki alike. Tea Core, but Chrome finished so a bit shinier and sleek at first. It'll be gorgeous after a year and more since the grain will pop up and the shine will fade.

As for the fit, I'm wearing almost everything in Small and the 36 was quite nice on me. One special thing that impressed me is the range of motion that you have with this construction on gusset and underarm. Really, really nice to ride a motorcycle or want some confort but still a great fit. You can easily play volleyball wearing it, I've never seen this before.

As I don't ride motorcycle and I'm more a perfecto guy in the end, I'm selling it. But if unlike me you ride, need a nice cafe ricer or like this style, this is a very good option. And not that pricy for that hide quality.

Hello Ton312,
I just purchased the Iron Heart IHJ-35, I will tell you that this is one beautiful horsehide jacket. The quality bars none. The sheen is beautiful, the flexibility is very comfortable, you don't have to break your are bending it. The weight is lighter than my Aero cafe racer, and my other horsehide jackets. I wear a size 46, so the XXL is a perfect fit for me. I am 5'11" 215lbs. I feel as if it was made custom for me. You can not go wrong with it.

I can understand, it really isn't a big deal since it is behind you.
Totally agree. I own the IHJ-54, which is basically the IHJ-35 with a collar and an even more ridiculous price tag. I am not a fan of center seams and I don’t own any other leather jackets that have one. However, this one doesn’t bother me a bit and since it is behind me I don’t ever notice it.

I think that the issue with the Iron Heart one is that the center seam goes all the way to the collar. That makes it look awkward IMO. The examples you shared above all don't go as high thanks to the back yoke.
