Identify this Resistol?

All I know is it is a Resistol felt and probably vintage 1960`s. Both the liner and sweatband only have the maker.Even the original box does`nt show a model name or #. Not important but I`m just curious.

snap brim -- 1 7/8"
front crown -4 1/4"
rear crown - 3 1/2"
ribbon width 2"
crown pattern - teardop w/side dents?not sure

It`s actually a pretty cool hat that I got cheap so I`m going to have her cleaned/blocked,liner reattatched and replace ribbon.

See any tags, labels or stickers behind the sweatband? Without a model on the sweatband or a tag, figuring out the model is tricky at best, even with the reorder number that may be found behind the sweat or liner.

You are my new hat detective hero,gtdean!! Just like you said--there was a tag underneath the sweatband. You solved my mystery like that! *snapping fingers*

Size 7(thought it was snug)

Either the owner of the hat or a QC person signed the underside of the sweatband "Chris B" in cursive.

Never dawned on me to (duh) just peel back the band.

Thanks guys. Looks like I`ll be gifting this Resistol to someone as it is actually a size 7 (but came with a 7 1/4 tag)...so it`s too small for me.I`ll keep the box but it`s not going to be cost effective for me to have her cleaned,etc. Oh well.Live and learn,eh?
