Idea needed: where to keep ticket stubs?

My daughter loves movies and has a collection of ticket stubs from virtually every movie she has seen. She is especially fond of old movies.

I would like to find something movie related to keep the ticket stubs in. I was thinking one of the glass boxes ticket takers used to use but I have no idea what they are called. Any ideas and/or suggestions?

Thanks,

JDG

You might contact Lizzie via PM; she's currently involved in that very industry and would probably have some good ideas.

Otherwise, you could get an old film reel can and glue them to it. Or a large photo album - print a poster or card off for each movie and stick the stub in with the card.

I just saw a nice example of framed music tickets and such in a book called: "Creative Walls" by Geraldine James (pages 48-51 if you're really interested). They used empty frames, and just arranged them inside to make unique art. Another idea would be an old fashioned scrap book.
Sorry I can't help much on the ticket-takers box. It sounds like a neat idea. I bet that you could find a local plexiglass worker could make the top (clear part) though.

Thanks. One thing to keep in mind is she has HUNDREDS of these stubs (some good movies, some not so good). Please keep the ideas coming.

Cheers,
