I would love to have this sort of summer suit but what shoes would go with it?

Agreed! Seriously, the only downside to this thread is I'm so going to spend most of my stimulus check on footwear.

I'd lean in favour of black and white spectators, myself - even with the black jacket, I suspect fully black shoes would be a little too much against the white trousers. An Oxford style rather than a punched brogue style would be particularly sharp.

That suit looks like the kind Don Draper on Mad Men would wear. In my opinion, black wingtips or captoes work with that suit. It is a very nice suit by the way.

Thanks for letting me know! I was confused as to why everyone was saying spectator shoes were the best choice. It didn't look like a summer suit either.

I was fortunate enough to get those Bally Linen/leather spectators in black earlier this summer. I love them, they are a very nice pair of shoes and look excellent with my cream linen suit. Also I just purchased a pair of Polo white flannel trousers. I am planning on those trousers with the shoes and a navy blazer with a black and white rep tie and linen pocket square.
