I purchased this racer jacket on Monday

It took a while to get a jacket of this style since money was tight for most of last year and part of this year too, but I managed to finally get this when it was on sale. Picked this up a few days ago and it's great.

I have contemplated on getting a leather jacket and am dead set on getting a Schott 641 or 141.

This doesn't look like a Schott to me. What happened?

It's a Simons Canada (Department store) brand jacket. It's not overpriced like many jackets here. It will serve the OP well. Congrats. I am not sure where you are in Canada, East or West coast, but you will be just fine wearing that jacket and doing your thing.

Lol, I wish. Just a regular Joe who finally bit the bullet (as nice as the Schotts are online, if they fit or feel bad, I'm out money as many don't offer returns)
