Mine has a pin and a Stratoliner box plus its a size 7 12.

It looked to be a sweet hat by the way.

I picked up almost the identical Stratoliner, in the same or better condition, same general vintage (based on liner, etc), but in 7 1/4 for under $100 just a week ago . . .

Price seems to expand about $100 per quarter inch...

A 7-3/4 mint Stratoliner could easily fetch $350. (I know, because I would pay that much for one, although my eyes are peeled for either blue or green, which of course must be TOTALLY non-existent in that size!)

But 'talking up' a certain hat also reflects actual interest and demand. I understand it also creates it, but the forum does that for all sorts of particular hats and vintage hats in general.

I beg your pardon... it was not posted live by me.
I posted this way after it was over ..I know... I bid up to $100.00 on it. And only posted here after I was notified by e-mail the auction was over.

So who posted it here?

I guess like re-posting photos [I was told not to do that anymore also] when I responded in a quote. I will now no longer be allowed to post a dead auction.
