I Heart Paddy!

Gents,

Thanks to Paddy I received what may very well be my newest prized possession. It's Named a Pre-War Goatskin Unnamed Contract A-2. I thought I'd post a pic for you to enjoy. I have never seen such a jacket before. Thanks again Paddy, and may we live long enough to trade another day!

Yeah, kinda have to...It was part of the "Condition of Sale" That's the only way to keep me in line.[huh] But, this one will never be for sale...I've been after him for 3 years + to let this beauty go. If it ever goes anywhere it'll go back to Paddy.

Thanks so much for all the complements on the jacket. I really am in debt to Paddy for this trade. A chap with a true heart of gold....If you only knew how hard I've tried to get him to let go of this jacket, you would see why I am so ecstatic about getting it.

Glad it got there in one piece!

ALWAYS a sigh of relief at my end when the jacket gets to its destination. Also, it's comforting to hear when a jacket exceeds expectations too!!

Looks like a terrific fit too Steve, and you'll see just how incredible the leather and the lining is!!

Plus the pre-war zip (still a little bit of the original 'brown' paint on the back if you look!) works like it was made yesterday. But as you look around the jacket Steve, note the one piece leather at the collar back!! (very unusual!) and the way the jacket is finished below the zip box (almost like a Naval influence to the leather at the bottom).

It actually looks better on 'you' than on me!! wear it well and in good health (and get some more pics up for the boys 'n' gals to see!! )
