Here's one for every one on this thread. How many of you would watch a series that traced the hiding places of the real NAZI's that escaped? Like Eichman and Mengele, who managed to stay one step ahead of the Mossad. I think that would be worth watching! Of course, The History Chanel and real history are an oxymoron.

I'd watch that, too!

Well ok, I can see I am in a definite minority as far as having an open mind to this. Couple things ,they never had Hitlers dentist, they had a couple of assistants to Hitlers dentist that "thought" it matched and I guess all the other things they've brought up in this mean nothing. The compound in the jungle built itself for no reason, the dozens of testimonies by people mean nothing because they are ALL just lying. The officers and pilots are lying, the priests are lying, the money in the banks never existed, the U boat that was spotted off the coast letting people off was a hallucination, Bormanns niece doesn't exist. The daughter of the Nazi spy even though she has all of her mothers war effects bought it all on Ebay and of course is lying. I could go on and on but it's like the man said, trying to convince closed minded people of new thought is like showing card tricks to a dog-

I would point out that you are equally blind to the arguments of those on the side opposite to you. For each of your examples of "this I guess was an hallucination", etc., others have pointed out evidence, arguably far more convincing than yours, that you with equal vigour "poo poo".

There is a wide chasm between the open mind and the uncritical one.

All this talk of dopplegangers and cosmetic surgery and replacements has me thinking.

Has anyone else noticed that there are no photographs of Ringo Starr and Yasser Arafat together?

Hmmmmmm......

I'm not blind to anything, my entire life I have believed the same as you all , that he died in the bunker. When I first started watching the show I didn't change my mind on it, but as it has continued it's brought out a lot of fascinating information that made me start thinking, well maybe history has been wrong. There have been so many false flag operations and cover ups over the years that to just accept what has been handed down over the years as fact to me is foolish. Nobody here has heard me say Hitler made it to Argentina, only that there's a lot of evidence that has surfaced to say he may have. If I'm arguing about anything it's for the evidence that has turned up not the conclusion. The fact that not one person here has said, "Yes, that's really odd, or I wonder what that was all about" speaks volumes about how easily people can be duped and never question new evidence, even when the evidence is extraordinary. But then most people still believe the Gulf of Tonkin incident started the Vietnam War too so...

Here's the entire point: the evidence is *not* extraordinary. Thus why we so easily dismiss it.

It can go the other way -- for the "Hitler Survived" thesis to be true, the eyewitness testimonies of Gunsche, Kempka, Linge and Misch have to all be false, as well as the identification of Hitler's dental bridge -- which was not a simple removable plate -- by the dentist who installed it and the technician who constructed it, the documents from the Soviet archives referenced by Bezymenski, and the forensic examination of the dental X-rays, the surviving remains, and the autopsy documents by Sognnaes and Strom. If any of these individuals are telling the truth, the "Hitler Survived" thesis cannot be true.

As far as the Vietnam War is concerned, I thought everybody knew it was the inevitable result of the Truman Doctrine and the resulting US attempts to prop up the doomed French colonial government in Indo-China.

The Gulf of Tonkin episode was a false flag operation (this is commonly known, by the way), so, a priori, Hitler survived the war.

Gotcha.
Yes, commonly known once the CIA admitted it never happened, before that if you said it didn't happen people would have argued with you. So it's nice to see you actually recognize false flags

The field of historical study and research is constantly giving rise to new interpretations of historical events and trends. Any student of history knows this. Any student of history also knows that one has to keep an open mind and examine these revisionist theories. Legitimate theories, that is…not half-baked rehashes of old conspiracy theories that are being produced for commercial profit…like this show. This show is basically entertainment for the gullible…and the easily amused, like myself.

Perhaps this team could investigate the reports of Elvis being seen after his death, or the theory that Jesse James survived his encounter with Robert Ford, or the escape of Booth from that burning farm. Maybe they’ll find that Amelia Earhart lived out her days on a farm in Wisconsin, or that Jimmy Hoffa actually moved to Rome and opened a pizza parlour, or that the Phoenicians built a city or two in Idaho. There’s plenty of nonsense to make a tidy profit on.
