It's always interesting to read of a small town that make the smallest news story into the story of the century, since really not much else happens. That's only a cliche of a small town but it's exampled here. Cliche's are based on truth. I wonder if they had a festival or something like it, in honor of the opening of "The Aviator".

Currently reading bio of Hughes the real story is even wilder than potrayed in the "The Aviator" film. Hughes was nearly killed making "Hells Angels" & was almost killed many times making his cross country, overseas & around the world flights. AMAZING man!!! :eusa_clap

Someday they should do a film about Paul Mantz, he had a few interesting encounters with Hughes.
