Howard Hughes Leather Jacket?

One of the members here has a photo of Howard Hughes wearing a leather flight jacket while standing in front of a plane. The jacket doesn't appear to be an A2, and I can't find a decent version of the pic to get a good look. Does anyone have a larger copy of this pic and/or possible specs for this jacket? Thanks!

Funny you mention this, I was just going to link up this portrait of Hughes:

It looks like the jacket has a snap collar, meaning of course that it wasn't government issue.
