How to Stop Losing Lapel Pins?

It seems to me that my lapel pins are always getting loose, or in rarer circumstances completely falling off. I've lost one close to a year ago, and one fell off today (but I found it.) I could be wrong, but I think I've also had another one start getting loose.

What are some tricks on preventing the loss of your lapel pins? Thanks!

I cut off about 1/4" from a spray can wand or else strip the insulation from an electrical wire, where the inside diameter of the "keeper" is such as to fit snugly onto the pin. Upon slipping the "keeper" onto the pointed end of the pin, I've never since lost a lapel pin.

Presently, the best thing I've used has been the rubber keepers that the Hard Rock Café people use as standard on their collectable pins. You can buy a bag of a couple of dozen spare backs for those. I find they're always more effective that what comes with the pins - not foolproof, but much more effective and I've not yet lost one with these. (Another thing - if you carry a shoulder bag, keep the strap on the other side from your pins, or it's easy to lose one with the strap catching it.)

As an alternative, if you want to make a pin a semi-permanent feature of a particular jacket, this place has some options I'd consider:

Use purple Loctite, made for light locking can be easily reversed

For pins that are somewhat permanent, I use these Pin Keepers. Got them from the pin lady on eBay. Have tiny allen screws that hold the cylinders on the post and precent the pin from coming off. I've used these on all my jacket and vest pins for years without losing one, and they've taken quite a bit of abuse. Very secure.

Have you ever think why your lapel pins are getting loose? This may be because of poor quality.
You should approach to some better lapel pin manufacturer.
I can suggest you. VIPINS - US based manufacturer who deals with the similar business. They will provide the best quality lapel pins and save your time.

Keepers, as others have said, are a good way of retaining your lapel pins. If you need an immediate solution try the keepers that ladies use to hold their ear rings in place. That's ear rings for pierced ears.
My wife did exactly that for me, although the lapel pins became buttons, she snipped most of the stems, soldered a keeper on each and then sewed them on the shirt. Not the sort of thing that you are looking for I know, but it does show how versatile lapel pins are.
Note that the pins are MG badges, then look at the shirt pattern.

I've used those on my bag and one of them the tip broke off but the pin is still secure, I think the mechanism that allows you to "unlock" it
