How to post pictures.

Had a good question sent to me and thought I might give out some information for those in the need.

It hosts all my pictures I use online. To open an account is free. You upload your pics to the site.

You right mouse click on the online picture you want to use, click on properties, copy the URL and after pressing the yellow

picture button on the message, you paste the URL in the line provided.

Another way would be to type [/img] after the picture URL and before.

You cannot upload images straight to the lounge. we used to have that function though it took up too much band width.

Fotki is free to hold your pictures, though charges an annual fee if you wish to show them on another page.

It's free too and pretty good- easy to use.
...was recommended by another 'Lounge member- I've been using it. It has a handy image inserting link tag(simply copy and paste into message posting- don't have to use the interface here to do it) that doesn't give away too many secrets...

ImageShack is nice (and free). They give you a clickable thumbnail option, which is nice for forums such as this. They also give you all the code you need. You can just copy and paste directly into a forum message.
