Ace presentation the way that sticky was put together. I was wondering how they'd get all the segments together. Well done. All that's left is to highlight it in yellow like the others!

Excellent work CBI! Great stuff. It's always good to see nice work like that!

And I agree, Monitor - I've just seen the sticky and I think Feraud did really well with his surprise idea of adding a photo from each thread beneath the appropriate link. I think he added a really nice polish to it - and combined with the nice web design that TFL has already, I'm really pleased with how it's turned out. So thanks, Feraud.

And my final and special thanks go to you, Big J - for being the diplomat that nobody really knows you are and for talking me back here, for without you, there would have been no threads/sticky at all. Cheers! :)

No intent to hijack just had these pics at hand. I will stop here.........

And I don't consider it hijacking, CBI.
My main intention here was always for that someone out there who has a jacket and feels an urge to personalize it and make it unique to themselves - and to paint on it, but they simply don't know how (just as I once was).
So I hoped they would type in "How to paint on a leather jacket" into a search engine - and that is why I called this thread that, and not "How to paint a pin-up" or "How to paint on an A2" because perhaps they want to paint a Norton, Triumph or BSA logo on a motorcycle jacket or even just a girlfriend's name - and they will be directed straight to the link and discover TFL for the first time - and find the thread - and now, with your work on display, CBI and 2Jakes, they can see what others have done and hopefully feel even more inspired to have a go themselves. And that's all I wanted.
And if things run awry for them, they will also know of others like you and 2Jakes (and like Siggy too) to contact for help or advice. And we can all do that.
Who knows? We may even see a future thread from you on "How I saved someone else's jacket art" - like the TV shows on how tattoo artists re-work really bad tattoos and make them great ???
Like I said, get it wrong - nobody dies. It just means more work and patience to get to a good solution.

No need to thank me. Stand By did all the hard work! I simply put his tutorial threads into one post.

Reading through the threads last night inspired me to want to tackle a painting project!

I hope this prompts other to share their craft with the Lounge.
