Starter Pens
:eusa_clap+1 on the Lamy Safari and Waterman Phileas as "Starter" fountain pens; both will serve you well as everyday pens. My Safari, which I bought around 1988, just gave out on me, but the Phileas is still going strong. Can't say enough about the Pelikan 200; it's been my everyday pen since I got it. I use it more often than my Pelikan 400 or 600.
