So my fiancé is quite convinced that I look like Idda Van Munster...(quite frankly I don't see it, but I'll take the compliment lol)
I'm obsessed with how she does her hair here..but am not quite sure how it is achieved... Was hoping you ladies could help!

I remember watching the Munsters and don't remember seeing the leading lady's hair like that. I assume she is out of character in that photo. It's hard to see how she has the back but it looks like it's tied back into a chignon and the top is combed over into a side sweep jumbo curl. The hairstyle that I'm thinking about reminds me of this Tyra Banks pic when she went vintage glam;

The difference is in the front...instead of putting it in a sweeping wave like Tyra's you would roll it under in a big curl like the Munster lady.

Its a bit difficult to see but i would say that shes curled her hair and then sectioned a triangle portion to include her bangs and swept the rest into a rat similar to this tutorial . For the bangs it would be similar to this tutorial except placed lower on the forehead. You would take the triangle section, tease in sections at the root starting from one side of the face and moving towards the other, then roll it into a sort of bumper bang but place it to the side. Does that makes sense?

hope that helps!
