I'm not sure you know what geezer means. Maybe I'm the one that doesn't know what it means.

Sorry guys.. here in the UK, a "Geezer" is simply a man or bloke. It has kind of evolved to mean a cool dude or someone who has a charisma about them.. At least that's the case in my neck of the woods anyway! Absolutely no disrespect intended. I'll rephrase it... Joao, you look the business in those big old hats you wear.. Keep up the good work!

No problem there. As I said above, my hair is turning white... I have more white hair than some people with more than 10 years I have.
I've been in the UK (Scotland) and I do plan to return there. So no problem there too.

More people should wear broad brimmed hats. I was a redhead in my youth. Now I am a bald 54 year old guy who loves to wear hats. I wish I had been wearing them 30 years ago.

I went to s dermatologist a few weeks back to have a couple of rough patches on my skin examined. The Doc removed 3 spots (neck, nose, cheek) with liquid nitrogen. However she had a quick look at my scalp and said they was more work to do but the area was too large for spot treatment.

The young Doctor prescribed a 3 week treatment with a topical cream called Efudex. I had to do my entire scalp. I am nearing the end of the treatment and my poor bald head is a mess. I am covered in dark red spots and I understand my appearance will get worse before it gets better.

So should we care what people think? Wearing a brimmed hat is the smart move. I would wear my Campdrafts and Fed IVs if I had a full head of hair. I like them and I will stick with them. I get more positive remarks then negative. And boy am I glad I have them now to cover up this unsightly mess going on on the north of my noggin.

Hoping to get good news on the 11th when I go back for my follow up.
