How did you find the lounge?

I'm one of the COWboys, came over in the cattle drive of '03-04 :p

I'm a gearhead at heart, but I love the Ob Bar discussions, it's something we can't do (and understandably so) over on COW.

Cheers

I'm a COWpoke as well. Though recently I find my interest in vintage threads makes me spend a larger amount of time here.

(stumbling around like a derelict..) I have no idea how I got here!

But am glad to have found the site!
I think I found the lounge through a search engine.

Its a large hoofed mammal. Farmers raise them for their meat and milk. The hide can be used for shoes, boots and belts, etc...

or...

Club Obi Wan...another forum mostly dedicated to Raiders type talk.

I went to the Atomic site after I couldn't find the magazine anymore. I was directed over to Retro Radar, then from there to here! Seems like others took the same route.

i'm an ignorant newbie -- what is COW? :kick:
It's initials for a forum called "Club Obi Wan" that is connected with Indygear.com. MK was a moderator over there at one point, and with the love for the Indy fedora and the 1930s time period that many Indy fans have, some of us naturally migrated to establish a dual citizenship both there and here.

I was checking the Atomic site to see why I couldn't find the new issue.
It said the magazine was no more but try the Retro-Radar site. I did.
It said try the Fedora Lounge site. I did.
I realized there were more people thinking like me than I knew.
Thank you, everyone.

Ditto. Plus, I think I've stumbled on it a few times doing various searches... AND it's been brought up on another forum I'm a member of on the Vintage Fashion Guild.

I don't stumble by often enough, however... I should visit more. You poeple make me feel like less of a freak. I love talking vintage with like-minding people.
