I’ve been on the lookout for a nice pair of Venetians. Viberg have a beautiful pair, also in shell, but there’s no way on this earth I’d pay that money.

I’ve got my eye on these slip ons by astorflex but can’t find a supplier for these in the EU that stocks them in brown. The green is growing on me though.

Those look nice. I'm tempted to try a pair of these from ebay, and maybe add a nicer, cushioned insole.

Edward I've had a few pairs over the years, decent leather also, I did the same, added a insole, I used to wear them all over sometimes in summer here with linen pants haha

That’s my thinking too. I go by linen in summer, some nice slip ons would fit well.

I have a pair of oversized sneakers I only wear in the house, but before that, it was a pair of moccasins that I now use at camp after a long day of backpacking. I miss the days when you could have a pair of handmade, double soles made for a reasonable price. Maybe I should start looking for a pattern so I can take a stab at making my own.
