Hot Water Shrink a Shearling B3 ??

Yes, it's a crazy idea but I really love the old Vintage Vanson B3 I posted in the classifieds. It's just a massive 44. Has anyone attempted a shearling hot water soak or shrink somehow and had good results? I don't mind if the shearling hairs get curly, I just need the jacket to shrink proportionately.

Shearlings really do lend themselves to being worn big.
