It doesn’t.Yes - if Shinki is that good, where does Horween fit into this scenario?

Respectively. Disagree.It doesn’t.
Damn straight SF. Let's keep it clean and no shots below the belt.

Those sleeve creases came in a WEEK? Wow!
Is this seriously still a live debate? Different leathers, different characteristics, subjective preferences.
Actually Shinki is far more limited than Horween. Only a select amount is made per year and some cordovan hides taking up to a year to cure at the factory. The Real McCoys, Freewheelers and Flat Head have first pick each year as each of these jackets are hand selected hides.

I'm not a huge fan of anything that quickly loses it's original characteristics...I prefer the slow road.My cordo Bootlegger has stayed much the same as that across its life time. Both hides wear nicely over time, though I'm not really a fan of teacore finish in either.
I completely agree. The more accurate sports analogy would be Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson.Shinki vs Badalassi vs Eastman horse makes sense.
Shinki vs Horween not so much I think.
Too many differences.
Btw that jacket @Milesdeathescape is just too beautiful!

Thanks Peacoat. It's quickly proven to be my all-time favorite from Aero. It's not the flashiest jacket I've ever owned but the cut and hide scratch me right where I itch.@ton312 That is a beautiful jacket. Don't normally care much for them when new, but that one is a head turner.
