While undoubtedly the two hides have their differences, it seems to me that a lot of the assumptions one sometimes sees about horse being superior come down to the simple fact that it was the original spec, goat coming later. A lot like some to this day will argue the bit as to the superiority of the earlier Ash-bodied Stratocasters over those with an alder body, when in fact Leo Fender simply used whichever wood was cheapest at the time!
