:) and :eusa_doh: at the same time... I forgot I'd put this as a minimum bid on Ebay and have just won it, is a nice item but more expense with only $1.34 at Paypal rates to my feeble 1 UK Pound... lol

What actual age might it be, any ideas? Looks well 'weathered' anyway...

Looks Post-War...

but other than that, would need more info. Pockets look like late '40's to
'50's- looks like an Aero Longshoreman with rib knit cuffs and waist.

more info...

Right, the item arrived a couple of days ago, I've treated it to a coat of Pecards (but it still needs more), and here are a couple more photos. Any further ideas on vintage?

I’m no expert but, although the EBay listing says 30/40s, I think it looks 50s.

I like the jacket and think at the price you paid it’s a great deal.

How is the fit?

I lay claim to no expertise whatever, but based on my limited knowledge I would have said 50s, maybe early fifties civilian version of the A2. Nice jacket.

Thanks... it is nice though it hadn't been 'fed' for a while, so is getting some much-needed TLC.

The fit is very snug indeed, I am a size 38, the jacket says 38 and I can only really wear it over a shirt, nothing more. Has a nice fleecey lining.
