I got the idea that I wanted my new PB Cuenca to look a little bit different the other Panamas... so I bought some silver-gray ribbon and got to work...

The result,,, well, lets just say I'm no Art Fawcett yet. But it sure is personalized. :D

If this was your first hat ribboning...:eusa_clap

Great job.

Thank you Tamas.

Honest. First time. Never done this before.

I'll probably try it again if I find a ribbon I like. :)

Looks wonderful. I redid mine too, for the same reasons. You can read about my treatment in the great deal thread. I hope to be showing some pics shortly.

Great job,

BRUNO

Your Gray/Black ribbon would surely win a Blue ribbon.

You have a great eye for color combination. And a great hand for the ribbon work on your hat. Bravo. :eusa_clap

Thank you, Bruno. Yes, I saw that you had given your hat "the treatment" to. Looking forward to seeing the result.

Very nice! Ribbon and bow treatments are great fun, and you've done a terrific job there!

Thanks, Dean. Yes, it was fun... and easy! I thought it would fight me more. :)

Well, dunno about all that. The ribbon I found was not was I originally had hoped for, but I had to make do with what I found.

But thanks anyway, Marty!

Gee... I'm kinda blushing here...

Cheers

How'd you get it to lay nice & flat all the way around? looks very neat.

Err... was that supposed to be a problem? :eusa_doh: :D

Actually, I have no idea! The ribbon I used is only ¬?-inch wide and was rolled on a small drum in the store. I guess it kinda wanted to stay flat out of habit. :)

Cheers!
