Latest Agnoulita:
2 7/8 inch brim before the mild curl. Six inch open crown. #52 block. 100% hare. Agnoulita is having problems getting his supplier of hare felts to deliver, but the ones he does have are very nice. The color I ordered never arrived from the felter so Mr. P made me this from a felt he had on hand. The hat is everything I was hoping it would be. The artificial lights don’t capture the light grey color of the felt.

I love the iridescent liners!
I’m thinking of a simple center crease to keep the crown as tall as possible. More photos coming.

That’s a great looking hat sir! What’s the colour name of the felt? It’s a really nice grey. His fancy new liners sure are nice.

Very nice, Brent. Nice and clean look to the hat and the liner is fantastic! Gives the hat that luxurious touch.

It doesn't get much better than this Brent, congrats! I guess it's the light weight felt again or? Looking forward to seeing more pics when you decide on the crease.

This is the lightweight (120g) 100% hare flare and the color is: 1-861-311.
The “lightweight” felt really isn’t light, just lighter than the standard weight. It’s nothing like the vintage thin felt where a stiff breeze can change the crease. To me, it’s the perfect weight for this hat.

This is the lightweight felt and the color is 1-861-311. Not very descriptive, but that’s the only “name” I know it as.

Looking forward to seeing yours!

Yeah man. Overall style is great and that colour is awesome. Is it one of those situations where you are glad he didn’t have the felt you originally chose? Or is it just me that’s enamoured with it.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks. I like it too, and I think the felt color I originally asked for is just a shade darker. This felt is a light grey, but some of the photos come out as sand or a light tan. The hare felt has a great hand and overall it compares quite favorably with Winchester’s beaver felt.

I was just contacted by Mr P. He shows me the 5 ribbon colors I chose to see with my CARIBU fur felt "SOVERIGN" with some tweaks.
Opinions welcome. Leaning toward the IRON....but interested in the VERDE....if I can get a better picture.

I vote for iron or ash. That said, his photos are notorious for not rendering colors accurately.

I have read you state that in the past. Also, how infrequent any email responses are.
I feel my eye has a reasonable calibration, if what I most like has some backup.
Mr P also included a teaser that what is inside the hat will blow me away.
Will share as the journey continues.

I consider Mr. P a friend and he makes a great hat for the price. His quality keeps getting better and I have no problem putting my money where my mouth is. There are a few things I wish were different, but overall his hats are a good value. Looking forward to seeing your hat.

Teaser was shared.....
It looks pleated.....
Now I will have to wait a few more weeks to get it......
DH, I don't know how you stood the long wait for the Wild Hare Lightweight.....
Then again this is my first.
Thank you, I would not be here if it weren't for all the sharing and critical critic's by the knowledgeable members here.

Arrived.....
The bow is doubled with the shadow color of Verde....might need a pic in the sun to see the green.
Liner IS pleated...Camel Taupe and Black
51 blocked
Caribu with Iron ribbon
Their hand creased diamond
Crown height 4 3/4"
Ribbon 1 1/2"
Brim double sticked underwelt 3" width
This was a customized "Sovereign"

DH....definately a different felt feel compared to my Gannon.....just as you had stated.
Also, all the felt hats I have (all purchased new...no vintage ones) have a similar scent or smell, this has a different smell....more industrial (chemical) odor.
Love the hat, certainly a keeper....the Caribu is a gray/brown (more gray).
Need to gently work the brim over time to get the flange curve more to my liking....

Thanks for all the reviews over the last 12+ months.....made my purchase experience a whole lot less stressful.....helped me get throught the 2+ month wait and the minimal communication.

Looks great! These hats are a real bargain for the money, and more and more they are also quality customs that can hold their own.

The pleated liner looks wonderful and I like your choice of brim treatments. A Phoenix Hat that @belfastboy came up with was the first use of the contrasting bow colors that I saw, and Mr. P looks to have executed it well. Did you opt for a hare fur felt or did you go with rabbit?

Be warned: these hats are addictive!
