Lately I’ve been thinking I might have one more Agnoulita in me: a dark olive antelope finish. :)

The dark olive is almost a black with some green undertones that only show in certain light....not unlike the Bottle Green you sent me. I have one of the dark olive antelope in stock but if I recall it is on the small side....that is the part that scares me when ordering from him......its the luck of the draw on the felts sizes when it comes to larger heads.

His capelines are probably the way to go; although they are only in the smooth finish and the color palette isn’t the same, larger, but not the same. Maybe one in moss?

Yes, it is weird as the men's dress weight 140gr felts are smaller 14cm Crowns and only 9cm Brims. But the 14x 14cm are only 120gr millinery weight.

Biscuit, dusty, Aegean, salt, choca (not to be confused with cocoa which he also has), etc...how are we to know what these look like without accurate photos?

I sent Mr. P a photo of Eric’s cadet blue hat and he sent me a BRIGHT electric blue that he said was the same shade! I’m not turned off of Agnoulita, you just have to be careful and spell everything out or risk disappointment.

So how would those of you that have bought these hats rate a Biltmore Oxford homburg (chocolate/USA made) against an Agnoulita Homburg? I have to decide.

Both are middle of the road quality hats.....to me it is a toss up if the price points are close. With the Agnoulita you get a much wider choice of felt colours/ribbons.

I'm finally the lucky owner of two Agnoulitas thanks to Panos @PanosChris. I've liked the look of this hatmaker since I first saw Brent's @deadlyhandsome posts of his, then some others from my fellow Loungers. Anyway, I've been playing around with the bash on the grey. I think I've finally decided on the 30s/40s look. View attachment 304996 View attachment 304997 View attachment 304998 View attachment 304999 View attachment 305000
Excellent new addition, Steve. Nice bit of contrast between ribbons and felt.
