In Beverly Hills there is the Doheny Estate, also known as Greystone Mansion

And, Greystone is one of those huge old estates from another era which comes complete with its own, authentic, murder mystery! :fedora:

You can easily find much info on this fascinating case. It has all the right points to make it a best seller. Murder, corruption, a high level cover up, and finally the wrong person being blamed for the crime.

It is blatantly "alluded" to in Chandler's book "The High Window". All the facts are correct, only the names have been changed.

Public tours are available to view the inside of this mansion and the public can tour the estate grounds at almost any time. When you're in Beverly Hills I highly recommend a visit.
