Himel Frobisher in 42. 1st leather jacket I own.

This is my 1st leather jacket. It is a Himel Frobisher in 42. I have never purchased any leather jacket in my whole life. This is the 1st one. Will it be the last one? Only time will tell. When I was young, my family owned a clothing retail shop with lots of different style of leather jackets, but it never grabbed my interest. Probably because the styles are too 'out there'.

For this Himel jacket, I will not purposely age it. I intend to let it age and get its own patina the natural way. I am a leather product addict (e.g. leather briefcases, men accessories etc) but never a leather jacket. This is going to be great.

For this Himel jacket, I will not purposely age it. I intend to let it age and get its own patina the natural way.

That’s the way to do it. Showering with it is intentional, but running outside every time it rains to soak it is ‘natural’.

Great acquisition and welcome to the Lounge. IMO the Frobisher is one of the nicest designed leather jacket made by anyone, and Himel is one of the very best out there.

i saw this jacket in real life, the leather is really nice, it's more grainy than shinki and less stiff imo. Looks great on you.

Thanks guys. Too late, the jacket acquisition syndrome had caught on. I will post my 2 second leather jacket soon. As I previously said, this "will" really be my last one. For real this time. This one is of an iconic style and manufacturer too.

I have to second this suggestion. You pretty much achieved perfection on your first try and I have a hard time believing that anything that comes after will be able to hold a candle to the Frobisher.

The 2nd one probably can't beat the 1st. To be honest, I simply like the style of the 2nd jacket. Will review it when it arrives. That's it for now. 2 jackets are more than enough for me.
