EVERYBODY needs to email sales@hatsdirect.com & ask Ron for a HERITAGE grade SILVER BELLY CAMPDRAFT & specify the size, reference that you are from THE FEDORA LOUNGE.

Actually, the sand color would work as well or better for me. Possibly closer to the old Stetson color.

I must say, I really liked the Silver Belly CD that Crazy Legs posted pics of a while ago. I'd love to get hold of a similar one in Heritage grade.
Sent my email to Ron. If the Heritage deal doesn't work out, I'll get the regular version at some point anyway.

We are talking about Akubra Silver Belly as it is whatever Akubra determines that is. How could we be talking about anything else? Akubra is the felter & hat maker?????

We all know that Akubra's Silver Belly is more of a tan color and not as "silver" as the Stetson color. As theinterchange states, it is a valid question.

Stetson's silver belly is different than Resistol's & different than Biltmore's & different than Knox's.... Anybody reading this forum for any length of time knows that.
You think we are going to ask a company to upgrade the model AND change the felt color of something they have established for years?

I've got four Stetson Open Roads--two modern and two vintage. All silver belly; NONE the same color. Silver belly seems to be one of those hard to define colors. An Akubra silver belly is a fine color...whatever it is! So, we have what...seven so far.
