Not that I'd know anything about the stuff....

Herbsaint Frappé is a favorite, and dripped via an original Herbsaint glass and dripper.

Some internet crank scanned a 1944 Herbsaint booklet :

An Herbsaint Suissesse is very nice too

* 1-1/2 ounces Herbsaint Original
* 1/2 ounce orgeat
* White of 1 egg (or 2 tablespoons pasteurized egg white product)
* 1 ounce half-and-half (or 1/2 ounce each whole milk and heavy cream)
* 4 ounces crushed ice

This is great thanks everyone. I was really pleased to have been able to get hold of some, having heard a lot about it on the lounge.

So essentially you treat it the same as absinthe? - It was designed as an alternative to absinthe I seem to recall?

Yes, Herbsaint Original is an absinthe substitute, you would prepare it just like a classic absinthe.

Herbsaint Original is closer to an absinthe, than some commercial absinthe brands. As it was back in the 1930s and 40s
