The Thedi was just delivered. Couldn’t hide this one from the wife. She answered the door when the UPS guy showed up asking to be paid for the customs charges...I just boarded a flight to Santa Barbara so she had to pay him, LOL. That was a fun phone call.
So will your wife be posting the initial pictures of the jacket? :D

Man, this looks great! Proper trim fit! Love the hide! How does it wear? Hope it feels better to wear than the Mulholland
It actually does. It feels amazing. The leather is spectacular and I love the fit. Slim fitting but comfortable with plenty of mobility.
Thedi is just amazing. The details, the leather...
I swear I am sold on Thedi. I have spent less on jackets, and I have spent considerably more...but regardless of price, Thedi always seems to impress me the most. I’ll put it another way...my next jacket will be another Thedi. There is no doubt in my mind about that.

Wow! Now that's a statement of approval! Congratulations to you!

I can't wait to receive my Thedi in a few months.

wow. really impressive style and fit, congrats, probably only Thedi make a jacket that looks 100% cool on first wear, looks new but not blank smooth new, doesn't need to do anything to it to make it look the part.

it's a modified grizzly jacket pattern in washed/waxed black canetto cowhide (without the fur panels, shawl collar changed to a regular collar with detachable mouton)
This sounds really interesting. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

Here is my last pic review of the Thedi. This time with the liner out and collar off....Just wanted to post these pics to highlight why I really like Thedi. It’s the details. Over the top for some...I get it, but just reeks of quality and attention to detail:
The corduroy details on the collar (and lining the pockets)...the wood grain buttons

Thedi leathers inside the zip sleeve! And who doesn’t love a button placed...just because. It doesn’t button anything, it’s just there, why? Because Theodoros wants it there. And I am fine with it!!!

the leather underarm patch, the sleeves lined with sateen(?) for easier on/off, the winged “T” Thedi engraved liner buttons:

the “gun” pocket with pen holder and the personalized name tag with date, and the Buffalo stamp...

The 2-way zipper...

And that grain!!!

Thedi just goes above and beyond. And Theodoros provides excellent customer service. Answers email promptly, has literally written me multiple emails after it shipped to ask if I had received it yet and if I liked it because “he was anxious” to know my thoughts and to provide him feedback. Sent me a handwritten thank you....
You can tell he is a craftsman that cares. I appreciate all of this.

I forgot to mention the weight and characteristics of the leather. It’s veg tanned Buffalo...and despite a lot of veg tanned leather being in that mid weight category...this is not a light weight jacket. It’s feels stiff but comfortable and feels like it will break in quickly...maybe that is a characteristic of being veg tanned...the leather is a bit squeaky and has a waxy feeling to it( probably do to his relicing process) It weighs over 6 lbs. 6.2 lbs on my scale.
