You need a bigger jacket than the one in the video. Details aren't important, just get a bigger one, two sizes up from whatever that one is. Sausage casing look is to be absolutely avoided with cross zips.

Don't go now to the other extreme , two sizes bigger is a lot. You don't have to look like a sausage but you don't have to look like you're wearing your dad's jacket either.

By the way, I don't really get the layering thing with a leather jacket. You either get the fit right with just an undershirt and a shirt, maybe a thin sweater or you get it right for a sweatshirt but you can't have both.
