Hello everyone, I recently attended an antique fair where I purchased a Borsalino fedora. Eager to learn more about it, I began researching and came across this forum. I know next to nothing about vintage hats, so I was hoping someone could help me out with identifying it. I'd love to hear anything you can tell me about it, but specifically I'm looking for the age and, if possible, an approximate value. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Here are some pictures of the hat.

larger pictures would help some of the more knowledgeable folks around here....

Your size tag with the open hand and what looks like "Eulan Bayer" points me in the direction of something I read that said it was a moth proofing that Borsalino used in the 60 - 70 time period.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong on that statement.....
