Help with age of Taylor’s police jacket please?

An absolute bargain at £50 and its a keeper but I’m curious as to how old it is. Can anyone help please? I removed the badges (New York Pleasant Hill Motorcycle Sergeant).

This looks like a nice jacket. Taylors Leather is the continuation of Appalachian Tanned and Tailored. They have a website, they may be able to tell you an accurate date.

I can say this jacket is not 50s, probably not 60s, 70s? 80s?

Rachel Patton their Sales and Operations Manager said it’s a 1980’s Paterson.

The jacket did look 70's due to the zips. However, I think it is Early 80's.
