Help! Wardrobe problem, in a time crunch (naturally).

Have you washed or cleaned this yet?

Sometimes it's just a bit of inground dirt changing the colour, so a good soak and gentle wash might make it appear more pink!

Miss Sis, actually I did wash it - I think later that day. I did an Oxy-Clean soak in the washer with a couple other vintage dresses, then washed for real with detergent and some more oxy-clean. It's still peach to me, but my mother noticed it was brighter, so it's probably a little more pink. It's such a pale color anyway that I think I'd have to have it on to really tell.

My biggest problem was the lipstick. My bright red (which I didn't want to wear) is definitely a pink red, and my darker reds have more purple. To me, they looked ghastly with the peach. But even if I'd had an orange or brown red, it would've done awful things to my face. I'm still not sure the best course.

A nice rose or a neutral! It's doesn't have to be all red all the time.

I wore it again - and I have pictures this time!

I took special effort this morning to dress for Mother's Day. And I even found a brother who consented to take my picture!

After seeing these, I'm definitely going to let the hem down. lol

That's so funny! I feel like at that length it has a 60's vibe to it (in a most definitely cute way). What a difference a hem will make.
