Help please , any info on the revamp irvin from wapg?

I know that this subject may have been beaten up to wiped cream, but is there any info or experience with the new issue or revamped Irvin Jacket from What A Price Glory?
My Little prospect expercience: impossible to receive scans about their Details on their Irvin, the responses/replies are vague and unclear.
I asked three times for detailled scans on the revamp Details, as well as shipping costs,...waiting for them since 3 weeks...
They are very attractive in Price, yes, but what do you get for it?
My Budgets are very Little and limited to these kind of stuff.
Please help.

I have looked at them a few times. Their communication is quite poor from my experience. They have been consistently sold out whenever I have attempted to find any info. I have tried 3-4 times over the last 182 years....I gave up.

The price may sound great but if thats the extent of their communication, I think spending a little more on something with someone who will give you better information is more worth while. What Price Glory could turn out to be What Price Rubbish.

That is not a good sales approach. I would go for an Eastman or an Aces High jacket.

I bought one about a year and a half ago ( so I'm assuming this was one of the improved run ones) for what was at the time £225 ( I suspect SE Asian made .. but none the less well put together) ... details that my one from 4 years ago didn't have ....

- Steerhide leather facings in a more russet colour rather than the plastic ones on my original 2010 one.
- Leather pull tabs on the zips ( though the zips were still YKK .. but very functional)
- slightly looser upper arm fit as I recall
- slightly better collar finishing again as I recall

bad points

- brassware is still just OK ( armpit grommets and buckle)
- belt is better but still not perfect re. belt loops etc.
- collar strap is like the belt not perfect

overall not bad though and easily wearable and looks good .... great value for money compared to ( albeit much more accurate ) reproductions from Aero / Eastman etc.
I really likes the sheepskin fleece .. light and soft ( very close to original) and less "glossy" than either Aero or Eastmans historic offering ( I haven't had or handled one of the "New" Aero's ).


Overall it was a well made and nicely cut Irvin repro ...... sold it to a guy in the Ace Café for slightly more than I paid for it ( but then I didn't get stung for import charges as I picked it up in the USA while on business)

I didn't have any issues in dealing with them either, delivery was quick and order was fulfilled excellently ... and their Indiana Jones stuff is top notch IMHO ( I bought a belt and a gas mask bag at the same time).

Thanks to all, and yes Andrew you are right, will go for an Eastman, Aero, or Aces High. I have 6 months "grace period" to find one prior the Irvin season starts again.
I saw somewhere that WPG Irvin´s and leather jackets are made in Pakistan since Pakistan is famous for leatherwear.

Any idea when the great Aero sale will take place, so far no Irvin at my size, I need 46" to 48".
Any good repro Eastman, Aero, Aces High will be appreciated.
