Help me choose my next Aero

I am thinking of ordering (another) Aero to be used in spring and Summer. I get hot quite easily, so it should be as light as possible.

I am thinking Russet Vicenza or Goat for leather with cotton lining.

But which model? I already have a Zipsleeve HWM, LHB, HB, Barnstormer and A2.

I am tempted to try something more fitting with 20's or 30's style, but I am rather big guy with height of 6 foot 2" and chest 49" and I am afraid that I would look ridiculous in some skinny fit jacket that is meant for thin people.

Any ideas?

Go for Aeromarine.

I must say that Aeromarine does look quite good... especially so in natural tan vicenza with handwarmer pockets. I just don't know if I am brave enough for natural tan hide.

Stay away from natural tan hide. Seal jerky horse hide is the way to go. Supple, medium weight, having character and no extra charge. Best value for the money.

Royale.

Incredibly cool, semi-casual summer jacket. This one in seal vicenca horsehide will work with jeans or more formal trousers and shirt.

looks cool, but I wonder if that jacket is as short as it seems in Aero's photos? I cannot find any fit pics of Royale so it is hard to tell how it would look on a person. I prefer my jackets to cover at least my belt even with low raise trousers.

Good point. Maybe the style is too short for you. You could still talk to Aero and ask how long it is and whether they could make it 1-2" longer to suit your desired fit. If that's no option, I'd start looking at Aeros longer styles, maybe the Plainsman, like its minimalistci design. The new Sea Biscuit appears to be a tad lopnger than their usual styles, too.

I second jacketjunkie's suggestion of the Royale. Aero should be able to make it long enough for you.

But here's another idea - the 1950's College Jacket. Notice that they make it: "in our high grade split calf suede perfect to recreate classic 1950s leisure wear jackets" Being split calf suede, it should be pretty light, easy wearing, and breathable. With or without the chest pocket:

Comes in navy suede too:

Looking at these for you has made me want one!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I thought I had evaluated all Aero models already, but you still managed to suggest some very interesting alternatives I had earlier overlooked for various reasons without giving them any thought.

After all consideration, I decided to go a little bit different path... I found a used black Jean jacket in soft steerhide from Aero's sale page and pulled the trigger:

And since this was a cheaper jacket than I had budgeted, I also ordered these:

Unfortunately now I went already over my budget and I still don't have a brown leather jacket for summer...

As far as I see the back length of your jacket is 26" and it would be short for you considering that you're 6.2" tall. But it is a matter of taste.

I have long legs and short torso, so I expect it to be just about right.

Dang, that Aero College Jacket looks cool, especially in a rust or tobacco color suede leather...I wonder if such color is available.

Back to square one, I'm afraid. My Black Jean steerhide jacket arrived yesterday, but I had to return it. The fit of this jacket was way off my liking. Waist was nice and close fitting but chest was really loose with almost bags under my armpits.

I felt I looked like this in it:
