Help! How to remove a coffee stain from my treasured Buzz Rickson B-15 ?

Well I ´ve done it. My priced possesion ( yes it was expensive) a painted Buzz Rickson B-15 has been tainted today by spilled coffee. And right in the front as well where it is seen. Took it the the dry cleaners and they looked on the label and said no dry cleaning possible ( dry cleaners here are totally useless). So I took water and tried to wash it out, even used a bit of foam from washing liquid and then rinsed it with water ...no luck ...the stain is still there. It is an olive drab B-15 and I am not sure now how to get the stain out. I had the same problem on my Aero B-10 some time ago and used a bit of soap and it left a ligher map on the jacket. Anybody here has a wonder method how to remove my coffee stain from the jacket without messing up the fabric ? Thanks for your kind tips and help...

Black coffee stains are essentially oil stains. I suggest naphtha (lighter fluid). I've had great luck getting mayonnaise out of neckties, hair oil out of felt hats, and the like with it. I’d try it in an inconspicuous place first to make sure it doesn’t take the dye out of the jacket or something.

Cream and sugar would need to be washed out with soap, and it sounds like you've already done that.

I've had great success with this product: http://www.sterlingsmagic.com/~sterling/directions.htm It works unbelievably well on chewing gum and other things. I've never tried it on coffee stains though.

well I tried borax powder dissolved in water ( apparently a secret tip for coffee stains) - zero success. The stain is still there, unbelievable how coffee stains, looks like my beloved B-15 is forever tainted....

When all else fails with an oil stain I use carby cleaner and warm soapy water.

Doesn't work all the time, but I have been able to shift stains drycleaners could not.

Sometimes Goop hand cleaner can get out stains.
