Help Dating A Vintage Space Heater

I bought this adorable vintage space heater primarily for aesthetics but it actually works!

It's an Arvin Model 5300. Can anyone help me date this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looks 50's to me...based on the color alone...

Appears to me to be early 1950's based on the heating elements and the cord.

I once had something similar which I inherited from my great grandparents, which worked until I wore it out. Darn. Made a great space heater for the bathroom.

If you are going to use it, please replace the power cord. It's likely to be brittle and a fire hazzard.
