The C-62 on the label denotes the year of manufacture. Also the 7823-B model G-1's were made from 1961-1963.
I have the same model Ralph Edwards (mine is a size 46) with a vintage USS SKIPJACK submarine patch on the chest that was worn aboard that sub by a ship's officer. If only that jacket could talk, the tales it could tell!
